I am Henry Adams, a Canterbury native with a fondness for historic charm and great beer. My recent stay in a cozy attic room at a hotel near the Chateau exceeded my expectations. The room, adorned with wooden beams and a comfortable bed, offered a romantic ambiance with a picturesque view of the river. The breakfast buffet, featuring bacon, eggs, croissants, and fresh fruit, was a delightful start to my day.The proximity to the fortress allowed for stunning views, while the old-fashioned furniture added a homely touch. The friendly staff accommodatingly stored our bags after checkout, allowing us to explore the town hassle-free. Despite a minor inconvenience at the on-site restaurant, nearby dining options offered delicious alternatives.my experience at this hotel was delightful. From the picturesque setting to the cozy room and warm hospitality, it truly captured the essence of my ideal getaway.
